Amit is our lead dentist. He graduated in 1998 (BDS) and obtained his postgraduate Master’s Degree in Periodontics (MDS) in 2001. He has experience working in the hospital maxillofacial departments from 2001 to 2003 (Worcester Royal Hospital and University of Birmingham Hospitals).
He set up Denora Kidderminster from scratch in 2004/2005 and became a vocational trainer with the West Midlands Deanery in 2006, and the Kidderminster practice was VT Accredited as a training practice. His passion lies with implant dentistry and complex surgical dentistry. To provide a more implant-centric practice, he established Denora Worcester in 2007 as a fully private dental clinic.
He became an ISCD international trainer in CAD CAM dentistry in 2008. He then obtained an advanced diploma course in implant dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2009. Following this, he obtained an MSc postgraduate degree in implant dentistry from the University of Leeds in 2014. He has been an Invisalign® comprehensive provider for the last 15 years and was an early adopter of Invisalign®.
He embarked on a university diploma course in non-surgical facial aesthetics from the University of Northumbria, which he successfully completed recently.
Amit is very passionate about his work, empathetic, and understands the anxieties that patients can experience while seeing a dentist. He will listen to your needs and requirements, take time to explain your options, and perform the work in a manner that is comfortable to you. Amit enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a special interest in surgical, cosmetic, CAD CAM and dental implantology.
Outside of work, his passion lies in cycling, gardening and travelling.
